This Blog is ...

- the easiest way I can think of to keep track of good stuff at SXSWi Conference 2010, 12th - 16th March; brilliant panel line-up, leading speakers and cutting edge topics (see Hot Links)!

My aim was simply to find out about:
- Emerging technologies for learning
- Emerging ways of using existing technologies for learning
- Emerging ways of thinking about technology and learning
- Meeting some inspirational people who do this thinking ;o)

Spotted at SXSW - Helga Henry

Met Helga Henry , project manager for Fierce and  currently the NESTA Clore fellow.

Clore is about leadership training, while Fierce 'believes profoundly in the innate creativity of every human being. Fierce training programmes primarily focus on unlocking this potential.'

I first met Helga when she was MC'd the Hello Digital Conference in Birmingham, October 2009. Amazing (Both person and conference).

Do we need more blue sky thinking?

Have arrived in Austin for SXSW Interactive conference and - guess what -  it's a balmy, sunny day. Call me shallow, but it does seem easier to be positive and open toward the large-scale change when the sun is shining! ...
